It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Emma Louise Spriggs on March 26th, 2026, at the age of 53. Emma was a deeply cherished daughter, partner, family member, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Emma will be remembered for her unwavering compassion, her strength in the face of life’s challenges, and her ability to bring comfort and joy to those around her. She had a remarkable way of making people feel valued and supported, and her presence will be greatly missed within her family circle, her friendships, and the wider community.
Her love for life was reflected in the simple yet meaningful things she treasured, including her fondness for the color yellow—a symbol of the brightness she brought into the lives of others. In honoring her memory, the family kindly invites those attending her service to wear a touch of yellow as a tribute to her vibrant and uplifting spirit.
Emma’s funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Polesworth Abbey Church, followed by a burial in the adjoining churchyard. This will be an opportunity for family, friends, and all who knew her to come together in remembrance, to celebrate her life, and to say their final goodbyes.
