Eric Maqueda Greenville, Texas Obituary – Death: Greenville High School Alumnus Sadly Passed Away

It is with deep sorrow that the Maqueda family announces the passing of their beloved son, Eric Maqueda, who left this world on the early morning of Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026. Eric’s passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of his family, friends, and the Greenville community, where he lived and contributed so meaningfully.

A proud alumnus of Greenville High School, Eric was known for his warmth, kindness, and the positive impact he made on those around him. Family, friends, and acquaintances remember him as a young man who carried himself with integrity, compassion, and a generosity of spirit that touched countless lives. His presence brought joy, comfort, and encouragement to those fortunate enough to know him, and his memory will continue to inspire all who were blessed by his friendship and love.

The Maqueda family, including Claudia, Antonio, and Elissa, has expressed heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of support they have received during this incredibly difficult time. Funeral arrangements have been set to honor and celebrate Eric’s life. A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home, 5100 IH-30E, Greenville, Texas. The funeral Mass will take place on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Williams Catholic Church, 4300 Stuart Street, Greenville, Texas, with interment immediately following at Memoryland Memorial Park, 808 Jack Finney Blvd, Greenville.
